In other words, matching up one of the league’s strongest defenses and one of the league’s strongest offenses, the Lions, has the potential to create a great game, which is why this contest is sure to generate lots of betting interest. If the Bucs defense is able to hold up against the Lions passing attack then they will likely easily cover the tiny two point betting spread and probably earn their fifth victory of the year. However, if the Bucs cannot stop Jon Kitna and the Lions offense, then it is unlikely that the Bucs will be able to hang with the Lions in a high-scoring shoot out.
